What can I expect at a portrait session?

Two of the most important aspects of a session are a relaxed atmosphere and that enough time is set aside to get the most pleasing images. Initially, we meet for a few minutes to ease any nerves and to help me get a better idea of the most natural backgrounds and lighting needed to produce the most appealing images. For most packages, I take anywhere from 40 to 100 shots per session, and choose the best for your preview session.

What do I wear?

Solid, dark colors are best, with long sleeves and scoop or v-neck tops. For couples and families, coordinating colors is a good idea. A little planning goes a long way in terms of the final image. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask. Don't hesitate to bring several clothing options. More than one "look" during a session is encouraged.

After the session, how do I know what to choose from or what to order?

Once the "proofs" are ready for viewing, I will contact you. I will have approximately 20 images for you select from, and a wide variety of packages to best meet your portrait needs. In-studio sitting fee is $100 and the on-location sitting fee is $145. The session fee is payable at the time of booking to reserve your appointment time, and may be transferred if the session must be rescheduled. The fee is one time only.
